The journey often took us over the Etosha National Park in a Hercules aircraft, flying at treetop height. Imagine looking down to see herds of elephants, giraffes, and zebras in their natural habitat—a memory I’ll treasure forever.
I’ve also experienced the magic of safaris in Kruger National Park, where the raw beauty of African wildlife is on full display. Witnessing lions stalking through the grass, or watching a herd of elephants amble toward a waterhole, is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
